With mid terms knocking on the door next week, it’s time to register for next quarters classes! This past quarter focused on sweet deliciousness ( and making my husband insanely happy!) in the form of my baking science and theory lab.. umm check out the tart I made this week!
This next semester will be focused on savory dishes and techniques. In my foundations for classical techniques class I will be in the kitchen boiling, braising, frying, sautéing and working on my knife skills! I will also have a couple of lecture classes as well. I will be learning about planning and controlling costs as well as food and beverage operations management.
So what can you expect next quarter? Lots of tips and tricks for cooking vegetables, proteins, grains, pasta and potatoes as well as a wide variety of sauces and soups!
